End of the summer.. and whatnot.
Okay so i've reached the time of the summer holidays when you actually realize.. it's boring, it's never sunny in the UK and I don't have a job. So I'm just wasting my time away lying in bed, blogging and gaming, when a lot of my friends are actually GOING TO WORK or DOING UCAS STATEMENTS. Then again, this is the last time in my life I may actually get to relax, waiting for the new school year to start. I'll (hopefully) be a big Uni girl next year! *squeals*
So i've had a 2 week holiday (which was good to an extent but contained a lot of angst and/or Oestrogen-related crappiness). The flight is ridiculously short for Greece (around just under 3 hours) so I thought heh.. why not tag along with the family. Turns out, 2 adults + 2 teenagers make Chloe a sad sad girl. But I got a whole lot of reading done.. although they weren't exactly top reading material. Managed to plough my way through the Twilight Saga (which is actually surprisingly good!), Noughts and Crosses, Chasing Daisy, Katie Price's Autobio (do not ask) and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest which is ultimately much more understandable if you're reading it for fun rather than school. I do need to grab a copy of Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights before I return to 6th form for the last time but I have no idea what to expect of "Classic" books. If they're classic, they can't be too bad.
My boyfriend returns from America land next Monday night/Tuesday morning (Time difference.. too mind boggling to work out properly) which I am EXTREMELY excited for as I haven't seen him since.. the 28th July. Although it is rather sappy of me to remember the date, that was quite a long time ago. This is exactly why we plan to go on holiday TOGETHER next year, to avoid this insanity of feeling slightly.. lost. Excuse me for sounding a bit "Emo" but y'know I'm very down with the kids.. Anyway, we're going for a short mini-break to London in a few weeks which is kind of our first holiday which is very exciting!
Anyway, i'll leave you little readers alone for a few days now, I need to do some important things such as my personal statement, cleaning my room to an inch of it's life and.. a bath. I've let myself go looks-wise as I rarely bother to leave the house in the Summer holidays. If it was sunny, i'd have an excuse. But it's just that pathetic misty rain which gets you twice as soaked. So I shall not bother. Goodbye. x
