Rhondda time fun.
Well hello there blog readers (I wonder if anyone actually reads this???), I have finally taken a minute out of my rather.. non hectic schedule to update on Wales adventures. After a rather quick journey up the M5 and through the rolling hills of Wales, we arrive in good old Pentre where the Terrell's live. After falling asleep and waking up rather late, we thought we'd make the most of Matthews time off so we went exploring to the magical land of.. Bridgend! Pretty much Barnstaple/Bideford rolled into one place, but with a Greggs and an Odeon! Swiftly making our way to Porthcawl beach, I find a rather large amount of Kooks hanging around. I rather love Porthcawl though.
Oh yes and the classic Matthew Terrell mishap of leaving his key behind and getting locked out the house. Bless him.
Flight Simulator was played, alot. Realized that Tesco SUCKS because they stock everything else but a joystick. sigh.
We took many cultural tours of Wales, including an extremely rough council estate and Tesco Extra. I also learnt how to pronounce "Rhondda" and "Tonypandy" properly. *grin*. I rather enjoyed my stay and meeting a few more members of the Terrell clan. I did not want to go back, despite being a little homesick. :(
Just arrived back from school. What a useless day. They wanted 6th formers to help out mentoring little children around but arrived to the head of KS4 to shout. "You should not even be here really, just wander round." So after 2 hours of wandering around the newly built school, we still don't know where we are. Monday is going to be a fun day. I cannot stop eating cheese straws, they are so moreish. *droooooooool* So with the absence of mentoring, I have 4 more days of lie ins and reading books until the real work begins. *gulp*
Time to tackle Pride and Prejudice. I like to read, but not when I'm told to.
I will update this soonish, because I am slack with organization. Tune in for.. London Adventures next Friday! x
