Getting into the Christmas spirit in the worst way imaginable..
I'm now Rudolph! Yay! Actually.. stop. Not yay. I have THE worst cold I've had in a long time. Colds don't really bother me as such but this one has knocked me for six. My nose feels sore and swollen, my chest feels.. chesty and my head is so hot you could fry an egg on it. Fantastic. Hopefully this bastard should go away in time for Friday when I get to see my Welshy boyyyy and celebrate our 6 month anniversary with nommy food and maybe a cheeky glass of Pinot.
On the plus side, I have now finished the epic essay that is "Courtly Love in Canterbury Tales". I'm not going to lie, it was bloody hard but a lot of hard work and googling on Chivalry has paid off. Hopefully my grade should be pretty decent. Talking of grades, my report was BCC which is a VAST improvement from last year when D's pretty much dominated the place due to my utter laziness. Yay for being organized.
Oh yes, the UCAS has been processed and I have received 2 acknowledgments. No offers yet but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Maybe Journalism departments are slower than others or I'm just unlucky. I have been checking my e-mails non stop for news but a VERY RUDE Geordie librarian decided to tell me to "put your phorrrrne awehhh". Since when were phones banned in the school library.. Those librarians are the subject of most of my blog-rants for a very good reason. Ugh.
It actually snowed in Appledore today. So much so that I couldn't leave the house! Was all lovely and white in my garden. (see the picture above)
